What is a fractional product manager?
A senior product manager who works with you part-time instead of as a full-time hire. You get product leadership for the stretch of work that needs it, without adding a permanent senior role.
Is a fractional CPO the same thing?
Close. A fractional CPO usually works at leadership level, deciding which bets the business funds, while a fractional product manager is nearer the build. I do both ends: help you decide which bet is worth funding, then build the first one with your team.
How long do you stay?
The Growth Map takes two weeks. If the map says to build, that's six to twelve weeks, and I stay until your team can run it. I'm not a standing part-time head of product.
